Low income vs Netherlands: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Transport (Energy)
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Transport (Energy) over time
- Low income
- Netherlands
How they compare
Low income currently reports 0.8127 Mt CO2e against 0.213 Mt CO2e in Netherlands, a difference of 0.5997 Mt CO2e.
That makes Low income's figure about 3.8 times Netherlands's.
The two have swapped places 5 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Netherlands ahead.
Low income ranks 41st and Netherlands ranks 44th of 45 groups.
Across the 6 decades both report, Low income averaged higher in 3 and Netherlands in 3.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Low income | Netherlands | Difference | Ahead |

| 1970s | 0.1237 Mt CO2e | 0.2058 Mt CO2e | 0.0821 Mt CO2e | Netherlands |
| 1980s | 0.2125 Mt CO2e | 0.2228 Mt CO2e | 0.0103 Mt CO2e | Netherlands |
| 1990s | 0.2915 Mt CO2e | 0.3322 Mt CO2e | 0.0407 Mt CO2e | Netherlands |
| 2000s | 0.3495 Mt CO2e | 0.3218 Mt CO2e | 0.0277 Mt CO2e | Low income |
| 2010s | 0.5933 Mt CO2e | 0.2771 Mt CO2e | 0.3162 Mt CO2e | Low income |
| 2020s | 0.7738 Mt CO2e | 0.2232 Mt CO2e | 0.5506 Mt CO2e | Low income |
Averages of every year both report within each decade.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the transportation sector (subsector of the energy sector) including IPCC 2006 codes 1.A.3.a Civil Aviation, 1.A.3.b_noRES Road Transportation no resuspension, 1.A.3.c Railways, 1.A.3.d Water-borne Navigation, 1.A.3.e Other Transportation. The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
