Caribbean Small States vs Mongolia: Total greenhouse gas emissions excluding LULUCF per capita
Total greenhouse gas emissions excluding LULUCF per capita over time
- Caribbean Small States
- Mongolia
How they compare
Mongolia currently reports 29.61 t CO2e/capita against 11.33 t CO2e/capita in Caribbean Small States, a difference of 18.28 t CO2e/capita.
That makes Mongolia's figure about 2.6 times Caribbean Small States's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Mongolia ahead.
Caribbean Small States ranks 3rd and Mongolia ranks 5th of 47 groups.
Mongolia has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
Total annual emissions of the six greenhouse gases (GHG) covered by the Kyoto Protocol (carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), and sulphurhexafluoride (SF6)) from the energy, industry, waste, and agriculture sectors, standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values divided by the economy's population. This measure excludes GHG fluxes caused by Land Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF), as these fluxes have larger uncertainties.
