Cuba vs Kyrgyzstan: Total greenhouse gas emissions excluding LULUCF per capita
Total greenhouse gas emissions excluding LULUCF per capita over time
- Cuba
- Kyrgyzstan
How they compare
Cuba currently reports 3.28 t CO2e/capita against 3.1 t CO2e/capita in Kyrgyzstan, a difference of 0.18 t CO2e/capita.
That makes Cuba's figure about 1.1 times Kyrgyzstan's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Kyrgyzstan ahead.
Cuba ranks 117th and Kyrgyzstan ranks 120th of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Cuba averaged higher in 4 and Kyrgyzstan in 2.
Head to head by decade

About this data
Total annual emissions of the six greenhouse gases (GHG) covered by the Kyoto Protocol (carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), perfluorocarbons (PFCs), and sulphurhexafluoride (SF6)) from the energy, industry, waste, and agriculture sectors, standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values divided by the economy's population. This measure excludes GHG fluxes caused by Land Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF), as these fluxes have larger uncertainties.
