How they compare

Pakistan currently reports 5.64 kg/ha against 5.34 kg/ha in Poland, a difference of 0.3 kg/ha.

That makes Pakistan's figure about 1.1 times Poland's.

The two have swapped places 2 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Pakistan ahead.

Pakistan ranks 99th and Poland ranks 102nd of 191 countries.

Pakistan has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Pakistan Poland Difference Ahead
1960s 4.45 kg/ha 2.1 kg/ha 2.35 kg/ha Pakistan
1970s 4.89 kg/ha 1.39 kg/ha 3.5 kg/ha Pakistan
1980s 5.05 kg/ha 1.9 kg/ha 3.15 kg/ha Pakistan

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
